More Than Just Tech: Why I Do What I Do
I started this journey not because I wanted to become a tech expert or a web wizard (though I’ve picked up a lot along the way). I began because I genuinely enjoy helping people solve their problems and make things easier — especially when it comes to their websites and online projects.
My path hasn’t been a straight line, but I’m grateful for that.
Taking a less direct route gave me the chance to gain broader experience across different aspects of the online world — from virtual assistance to content management, troubleshooting, and beyond. I studied Computer Engineering in Cebu, and even before I graduated, I started working remotely as a Virtual Assistant. It was a way to support my studies and get real-world experience. I was fortunate to work with very kind and supportive people who helped me learn and grow in those early days (way back in 2018 — I’m feeling old now) — people I remain grateful to even now. Over the years, I’ve worked with different teams, supporting websites, managing content, and troubleshooting issues — but it’s always been about the people on the other side of the screen.
What drives me isn’t just fixing broken links or updating designs. It’s the connection — knowing that I helped someone keep their business running smoothly or gave them peace of mind that their online presence is in good hands. I remember small moments, like guiding someone through creative updates they were unsure about, and helping people set things up and understand what’s going on. Those moments fuel my passion.
ConsultMeo was born from this simple desire to offer support that’s flexible, honest, and personal. I’m not about long contracts or confusing tech talk. I’m here to listen, understand your needs, and deliver help that fits your goals — with transparency and respect.
Outside work, I’m a family man with a wife and two daughters. Life keeps me busy, but it also reminds me why I do what I do: to support others in building something meaningful online, just like I’m building my own journey.
